The Golf Classic is the Gainesville Sports Commission’s only fundraiser of the year that supports your local sports commission. The proceeds from the golf classic allows us to continue our mission of fostering economic impact and promoting recreational opportunities for Alachua County through quality sporting events! In order to give donors and participants an opportunity to receive a charitable tax deduction, we have once again teamed up with Sports In Florida, Inc.
Sports In Florida, Inc. is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support and grow amateur sports competitions. They are recognized as a charitable organization and contributions to their organization are eligible for a tax deduction. Golfers and businesses who would like to receive a charitable deduction, make payments payable to Sports In Florida, Inc., use the Tax ID # listed above and mail to Gainesville Sports Commission, 300 East University Ave., Suite 100, Gainesville, Florida 32601.

Come out and join us for the longest drive competition, closest to the pin, and other fun games while you golf! Players will receive golf gifts, lunch (sponsored by Gators Den Sports Grill), along with complimentary beverages on the course! There will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes during lunch.
